That being said, I have a random want for a red E92 M3 with a DCT on some style 359s.

I’ve been living with two manual BMWs for the past year. Having to decide what manual BMW I’m going to take is an actual first world problem. Since I’m probably going to be changing jobs soon and living closer to work, I’ve been thinking about buying a new DD. I sort of want an M3 to DD. Why not just drive the M3 I already own? That just makes way too much sense.

Such a wide variety of colors to pick from.

Sadly they quick making them before I was able to afford one, otherwise I might have whispered BMW individual and tired to get a green one. In reality, I probably would have just gotten a white one.

For the 2011 E9X M3, yes.

Not that the non-M E90s had much better of a choice.

I need all of those. They really did do some fantastic colors on the E9X M3, it’s too bad they weren’t very common. I saw a woman driving a lime green E92 M3 by my parents I think I fell in love.

I’ve found certain cars and colors work well together. Sometimes it’s even a trim level deal.

I accepted the job, well unofficially. I told the plant manager yes, but no formal offer yet. They’re going to do a background check and a drug test first. I’m not worried. I’ve also got another interview on Friday, also in Greenville. So I think I’m going to be sick then. Maybe Thursday too.

You know, whenever I travel there on business, I always drive by that BMW facility- - you’ll have it nearby, and I know they do some HP driving classes there.

I don’t really like red cars either, yet my last 2 cars have both been red. My 328is was Hellrot Red and my ZHP is Imola Red. I like the Imola Red infinity better than the Hellrot Red. I guess I just don’t care all that much about the paint color, as long as it’s not rust-colored.

It feels good in my dad’s 135is, I would imagine that it would be pretty great on a track. I prefer the stick for street use, but would love to drive a DCT on the track.

I had a preference when I was buying my E90, I was also willing to spend the money to get what I wanted. It was also 2014 so low mileage one owner 6MT E90s were still plentiful enough for me to be particular.

nice - I like Greenville. The downtown area by the river is very nice - I usually stay at the Hampton in right on the river, there’s good restaurants and bars in the area, and seems like a fairly young crowd, too.

The maintenance isn’t that bad actually. The 997.2 doesn’t have the IMS issue and after that it’s the usual German car stuff. Drive belt, spark plugs, oil, brakes, tires.

I test drove a turbo and when I popped the hood I couldn’t imagine doing any service on it. It looked like an engine out procedure for anything. I don’t want to find out if my perception confirms to reality. Regardless, I would like to own one.

Now the turbo I don’t know about. Although I have been salivating dearly over a white 997.2 turbo that’s available near me. It’s perfect. White exterior and manual. It’s all the right boxes.

Someone street parks a 997.2 turbo in Savannah, I would want it apart from the fact that it’s auto. I hit WOT in second in a turbo before, you can’t tell me an auto is worth it.
